Gary Mariegard, EA – Owner

As owner of Laser 1040 by Mariegard, Gary oversees firm operations. He graduated from Montana State University Billings with a BS in Business and Human Resources Management and graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University. He is an Enrolled Agent and can represent you in matters before the IRS.

He is responsible for preparing personal and business returns and consulting with new businesses. He specializes in consulting with small businesses. Prior to starting the firm, Gary examined financial institutions, owned and operated several health clubs, developed real estate, provided consulting for small businesses and was a small business lender. He is a member of NSTP (National Society of Tax Professionals), NSA (National Society of Accountants) President of the Montana Society of Public Accountants, and a Board Member of Mjorud Bible Camp.

Alisa Scow, EA- Accounting Technician/ Tax Specialist

Alisa was born and raised in Helena, MT. She graduated from MT tech with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. She is a mom of 4 young kids.

Alisa loves to spend time with her family cooking new and exciting creations together. She also loves to craft of all kinds, her favorite is crocheting. Alisa received her EA in December of 2022.

She loves numbers and can’t wait to help you with your accounting, payroll, and tax needs.

Leandra Fraley, EA- Accounting Technician/ Tax Specialist

Leandra was raised in Havre, MT and graduated from MSU-Northern with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Leandra has a passion for numbers and hopes to make your experience with Laser 1040 a great one. She recently earned her EA in January of 2023. When not at work, Leandra likes to spend time with her family and friends; traveling, hiking and doing other outdoor activities.

Laura Griffith
Accounting Technician

Laura was born and raised in Helena, MT. She graduated from MSU in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Geography.

She enjoys frisbee, golfing, hiking, and playing with dogs. She is new to our tax office and is looking forward to helping you!
